Drawing, Cigarettes and European Court of Human Rights.

A few days ago Pasha Lebedev, lawer Olga Gnezdilova and I brought the 561_418337case to European Court of Human Rights. The reason for this decision is well known: we have long had sued the mayor’s office of Voronezh, the city police and the Ministry of Internal Affairs after the picket January 20, 2014 against the law about «gay propaganda.» We were beaten. But in Russia, we were not able to achieve justice and punish those responsible.

The second news: after Natasha Tsymbalova I quit smoking. I smoked for over 13 years. I hope I will succeed.

The third news: I finished a new drawing. Every day there are more and more. I like it! My dream is to go to art school in the United States.

We still need your help

Dear friends! We still need your help and support! I will be writing very short text. At the moment we have two of the most important and difficult problems:

1) Help with translations. We’re almost done to translate the publications in the media. But we have a large number of documents, letters and testimony. They are difficult to translate, so we are looking for those who really do the job. We will be very thankful and grateful to you …

2) Two women are coming to Washington DC from Russia really soon. I wrote about this here: New asylum seekers from Putin’s Russia. They still continue to look for housing. It will be very nice if we can help them. We really want to support them in the difficult period of life.

If you can, share this post with your friends.
Thank you for your solidarity and support!

P.s. Once again I am sorry for my mistakes and poor knowledge of the English language.

New asylum seekers from Putin’s Russia

ROFv9S73jiEFriends! I need your assistance. Two friends of mine are going to escape anti-gay Russia. They are together nearly 6 years. They are 30’s, friendly, nice and speak English. They have a lovely and obedient dog (5 year old Dachshund). They want to live normal life without humiliating and discrimination. Girls will appreciate any your help. If you have an extra room or main room available for a minimum of 3 months please let me know (Washington, D.C.). They are ready to answer any additional questions. Unfortunately they have to hide their relationships from public and due to this fact they can not provide their claim with a photo. But we can send it in a private communication. You may ask me or contact them directly.

Lawyers, Bridegrooms, and a Porn Star

Hello friends! Unfortunately, I am writing this blog not as often as I would like. But I hope that in the future I will be able to write here more often. I’m translating every day documents and media publications to apply for our political asylum. I feel that we have translated about 40% of the total amount of texts now. It is very good. Mostly, we were able to make these translations due to the help of those people who have responded to our request for help. They translated a huge amount of materials into English. I thank them so much for helping us! But we are still looking for people who are fluent in Russian and English languages. We still need help to translate documents for our political asylum cases.

DSC_1060I would like to tell you also, that on October 13th, at the DC Center LGBT organization, we took part in a very interesting and useful round table with a well-known immigration lawyer from Philadelphia – Larisa Tenberg. The meeting held in the «question and answer» format. Everyone had an opportunity to ask questions about political asylum in the United States, and to receive complete and detailed responses. The debate was broadcasted online. For those people who speak Russian, Spectrum Human Rights Alliance downloaded on the internet a video file of the mentioned above round table. It is available at:
